Designed by John Reich, the obverse features a left-facing portrait of Liberty wearing a cloth cap secured by a band inscribed LIBERTY, surrounded by 13 stars with the date 1824 below. The reverse displays a heraldic eagle with a shield on its chest, clutching arrows and an olive branch beneath a scroll bearing E PLURIBUS UNUM, with the denomination 50 C. below.
In Very Fine (VF) condition, this coin exhibits moderate circulation wear while retaining strong overall design definition. Liberty's portrait, hair and cap details, date, stars, reverse eagle, shield, denomination, and surrounding lettering remain clearly recognizable.
