The Capped Bust Dime design originated with John Reich and was later modified by William Kneass. The obverse features a left-facing portrait of Liberty wearing a cap secured by a band inscribed LIBERTY, surrounded by 13 stars with the date 1832 below. The reverse displays a heraldic eagle with a shield on its chest, clutching arrows and an olive branch, with the denomination 10 C. beneath.
In Fine (F) Details condition, this coin exhibits moderate circulation wear while retaining clearly recognizable design elements. Liberty's portrait, date, stars, reverse eagle, denomination, and surrounding lettering remain well defined for a circulated example of this age.
