The reverse displays a heraldic eagle with a shield on its chest, clutching arrows and an olive branch, with the denomination HALF DOL. below. The “S” mintmark beneath the eagle identifies the coin as having been struck at the San Francisco Mint.
In Fine (F) Details condition, this coin exhibits moderate circulation wear while retaining clearly recognizable major design elements. Liberty's figure, shield, date, reverse eagle, denomination, mintmark, and surrounding lettering remain identifiable.
