Add a classic New Orleans Mint issue to your collection with this 1896-O Barber Quarter in Good (G) condition. Struck from 90% silver and 10% copper, this historic quarter circulated during the late 19th century and remains a popular choice among collectors of Barber coinage and vintage U.S. silver.

Designed by Charles E. Barber, the obverse features Liberty wearing a Phrygian cap adorned with a laurel wreath and headband inscribed LIBERTY. The reverse displays a heraldic eagle with a Union shield, clutching arrows and an olive branch beneath the inscriptions UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and QUARTER DOLLAR. The "O" mintmark signifies that this coin was struck at the historic New Orleans Mint.

Graded Good (G), this coin exhibits heavy circulation wear consistent with decades of use. The date and major design elements remain clearly identifiable, while much of the finer detail has worn smooth over time. Despite its circulated condition, the 1896-O Barber Quarter remains a desirable addition to any Barber Quarter collection, U.S. type set, or 90% silver collection.
