Designed by Cyrus E. Dallin, the obverse features a portrait of William Bradford, longtime governor of Plymouth Colony, holding a Bible beneath the inscription PILGRIM HALF DOLLAR. The reverse depicts the Mayflower sailing across the ocean, accompanied by the inscriptions PILGRIM TERCENTENARY CELEBRATION, 1620–1920, and IN GOD WE TRUST.

In Extremely Fine (XF) Details condition, this coin retains considerable design definition with moderate to light circulation wear. Bradford's portrait and clothing, the Mayflower, lettering, dates, and other major design elements remain clearly defined.
