Add a beautiful piece of 1920s American silver coinage to your collection with this 1925 Standing Liberty Quarter in Very Fine (VF) condition. Struck at the Philadelphia Mint from 90% silver and 10% copper, this historic quarter belongs to the popular Standing Liberty Quarter series, produced from 1916 through 1930.

Designed by Hermon A. MacNeil, the obverse features Liberty standing between two pillars, holding a shield and olive branch to symbolize protection and peace. The reverse showcases a majestic eagle in flight with three stars beneath it. This coin features the Type II design, with Liberty wearing protective chain mail, a modification introduced in 1917.

The 1925 issue marked an important improvement to the series, as the date was recessed into the pedestal beneath Liberty's feet to help protect it from excessive circulation wear. This modification made the date more durable than on earlier Standing Liberty Quarters.

In Very Fine (VF) condition, this coin exhibits moderate circulation wear while retaining attractive details in Liberty's gown, shield, and surrounding design elements. Its improved date design, classic artistry, and 90% silver composition make it an appealing addition to any Standing Liberty Quarter collection or historic U.S. silver type set.
