Struck at the Philadelphia Mint from 90% silver and 10% copper, this coin was produced during the second-to-last year of the Walking Liberty Half Dollar series, which concluded in 1947.
Designed by Adolph A. Weinman, the obverse features Liberty striding confidently toward the rising sun, draped in the American flag while carrying branches of laurel and oak, symbolizing civil and military achievement. The reverse showcases a majestic bald eagle perched on a mountain crag with wings partially outstretched, representing strength and independence.
Offered in Uncirculated (UNC) condition, this coin shows no signs of circulation wear and retains strong original design detail with attractive mint luster. Minor contact or bag marks may be present from the minting, handling, and storage process, as is typical for uncirculated coins of this era.
