The 1897-O Barber Half Dollar in Good (G) condition shows considerable wear, with Liberty’s head still recognizable but most fine details worn smooth, and the date and lettering clearly visible. On the reverse, the eagle’s outline remains visible, but the finer elements, like the feathers and shield, are mostly worn away. As a key date for the Barber Half Dollar series from the New Orleans Mint, this coin is still a valuable find, even in heavily circulated condition.
